WITH THE DOWNFALL OF MAN UPON US, THERE IS ONLY ONE PLACE TO POINT YOUR EARHOLES: AT
TUFF SUDZ. WE’RE NOT DOING MUCH UP HERE BUT DAMMIT IF IT’S NOT DISTRACTING. PLAYING PSYCHEDELIC GARAGE PUNK PARTY JAMS UNTIL WE (OR YOU) FALL OVER DRUNK. BUSTING GUTS SINCE SEPTEMBER 2020, NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN UNTIL AT LEAST 2060.
Tuff Sudz has been tormenting the Chicago music scene for a handful of years. You may know them as the drunkest, noisiest punk band at your local dive bar, whose chaotic performances reliably draw their trademark heckled slogan: "F*CK TUFF SUDZ!!" But they're looking to change the narrative: they can also make a damn good album. Recorded at local mainstay studio Treehouse Records (known as the home base of indie rock acts
Slow Pulp, Whitney, Twin Peaks, Post Animal, etc.) their new record "Tough Suds" is a tight 26 minutes of brash,
melodic punk-rock. For fans of harmonized guitar solos, drop-tuned stoner riffs, and songs that feel like they might just slip off the rails entirely.
