At nearly 10 years as a band, the group have become experts at genre hopping. Their newest record “Shotgun” is a true testament to that. The record is full of rock and roll and whimsy. Like the scatter of shotgun, on their third and fully self produced record, Sleeping Jesus spreads themselves across multiple genres, from steel guitar filled shit-kickin' country, 70s reminiscent folk, and bouncy harmony filled indie rock.
