Lost Mary, a folk songwriting project formed by Luke Martin and David Johnson III, embodies the best of Americana’s rich, storytelling tradition. Hailing from the small town of Hillsdale, Michigan, the duo has carved out a unique niche in the folk music scene, drawing inspiration from the poetic lyricism of Gregory Alan Isakov and the timeless narratives of Bob Dylan. Lost Mary is the soundtrack of front porches, late nights, lonely rooms, and smokey basements, creating an intimate and nostalgic soundscape through its use of guitar, mandolin, harmonica, banjo, piano, and cello.
