Large Brush Collection is a four piece folk band from Austin, Texas led by songwriter and bassist Nora Predey. Off Center is the band’s fully realized debut release. Flutist Gabriela Torres, guitarist Dan Magorrian, and drummer Rishi Bajekal weave Predey’s intricate bass into compositions that feel warmly familiar on the surface, with depths of complexity that invite close listens. Predey’s lyrics evoke both dreamscape and memory, as each song treads the line between a conversation and a melancholic ode to past lives.
