Special note about For Arthur:

Finding Arthur Russell’s music was a special moment in my life. Finding out he was also from a small town in Iowa was too. His work expanded over genres and he brought together so many people through his love of music and sound throughout his career. It was a joy to make these covers. I’m grateful for them and all the friends involved. We all love Arthur. Thank you to my grandfather, another dear Iowan, for painting the cover.

This EP of covers is For Arthur. For my brother. For my friends. For queer artists. For queer people in Iowa. For queer people in red states or small towns who don’t feel like they can be themselves. For anyone who feels lonely or heartbroken. For anyone who loves Arthur. For anyone who happens to hear it. If you do, thanks for listening.
