Clear Creek SP is the primary songwriting project of Pittsburgh based musician Benjamin (Benji) Brody. Formed in 2023 as an electric rock band, the creek has seen many iterations over these years, performing regularly in and around Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. When touring in the Merce Lemon band came to a close in the fall of 2025, Benji took to Mr. Smalls Recording Studio (helmed by Nate Campisi) with an incredible cast of collaborators that includes Sam Debatin, Harper Reese, Justin Long, August Henry, Mitch Meece, Reid Magette, Chris Mccune, Chris Clevenger, Daby, Tyler, and Dylan; to create their first body of work Ember which is being released October 5th via Michi Tapes. Clear Creek SP draws upon lived experiences both inside and out of the music industry. A fourth generation funeral home operator by trade, Benji believes in the power of community, care, and deep listening as essential tools for living and creating music. We invite you to lay down your arms, and reside by the tranquil waters of “the creek”.
