Acopia is a three-piece band from Naarm/Melbourne, formed in 2018 by Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright. Their sound can be described as emotive dream-pop, indie, and downtempo. Following their 2022 debut LP "Chances" on Companion Records, Acopia independently released their self-titled sophomore album in November 2023. In recent years, Acopia has shared stages with the likes of Bar Italia and Tirzah, and appeared at festivals including Golden Plains, Rising, and NTS Naarm.
